Saju vs BaZi: Are They the Same Thing?

Short answer: Saju and BaZi are the same system. Both read a birth chart of four "pillars" — year, month, day, and hour — built from the Eastern calendar. Saju (사주) is the Korean name; BaZi (八字, "eight characters") is the Chinese name. The method, the math, and the core concepts are identical.
